Narrowband Digital two way radio solutions

Narrowband two way digital radio systems are using the NXDN and dPMR protocol. NXDN is implemented by Icom in their IDAS system and by Kenwood as NEXEDGE. Both Kenwood and Icom now also offer dual-standard equipment which supports NXDN, which is an international ITU standard, as well as dPMR, which is a European standard.

The NXDN and dPMR protocols does enable us to offer feature rich radio solutions for a fraction of the costs, compared to other digital radio standards, like TETRA for example. Narrowband radio requires less infrastructure for more radio signal coverage,  for smaller investment costs.
